Chinese embassy in Slovakia celebrates 75th founding anniversary of PRC

BRATISLAVA, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — The Chinese Embassy in Slovakia hosted a reception on Monday to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Some 400 guests, including people from all walks of life in Slovakia and foreign diplomats based in Slovakia, attended the reception.
While addressing the event, Slovak deputy parliament speaker Tibor Gaspar expressed the hope that the friendly relations between Slovakia and China will continue to grow.
Chinese Ambassador to Slovakia Cai Ge said the bilateral relationship has been developing and growing steadily, adding that China stands ready to continuously promote pragmatic cooperation between the two countries. ■
